This is the closest thing to a real life battle as far as video games go. Its acctually quite scary.

This Game is a must have if you like to board game and or play D&D.

You can even use this game as a tool to create and test games you come up with in your head. Not only that, you can publish your creations to the workshop and play your games with friends.

Even if you are not very creative, you can play tons of real world games with mods. Many games I have bought in real life I first tried out here. There are also many games (Axis and Allies for example) that I got in real life first but will now only ever play in tabletop sim because of how long it takes to set up in real life.

The Bottom line is if you are a board gamer thinking about buying this game. don't.... just don't even think.

If you are getting VR now or after this date just pass this one up, its boring compared to whats out there now.

I played this game up until 119 mins, because I was thinking I would return it maybe.... I figured I would play it again and then forgot about it. I wish I had returned it though.

The game is not too bad but I don't think it stands out very well in this genre because I think there are many many more games that do a similar formula better. This game reminds me ANNO but without the competitiveness and exploration.

Ahh Rome II, my most played game on steam. I have shogun 2 and total war as well as some of the older total wars, but this will always be my favorite. the emp addition really brought it home. I think the graphics and atmosphere are great and the grand campaign feels balanced. My only complaint would be that the AI in battle is not so good, and the agents are very OP at times but you can get mods for that. if you love stratagy and tactics then you need to get this game
