Long live Democracy

Very disappointing.

I found myself wishing at times that the game was a little more hardcore. I have played, every version of this game, from Don't Starve to Dayz, and I do like my games to be unforgiving.

That is not this. This game is not unforgiving, or punishing like so many examples out there, but it is very well fit together. The polish is real. The balance is there, for the most part, and playing with friends, has every one working together.

Its great.

Game is hard. And a little buggy. But its not finished yet. So I have to forgive them, as what is here, is a deep well. Well worth the price of entry.

This game is already very well worth it, and I am excited to see what is yet to come. Communication from the Dev has been fantastic, and the support for mods ensures that this game will live a long and full life.

It isn't bad. It is just really slow. I am not mad I got it, I get hundreds of games. I got twenty hours out of this, and I don't want my money back. It is just too slow to keep playing.

I will admit, it was nice to have a game that I could keep my cat on my lap and listen to podcasts and be on my phone while also playing. But moving items around to get more items to move around is not enough. Loop hero, or maybe, Hero Manager.

The game is okay.

But I would have told old me to skip it.

It is pretty fun for what it is. So what is it?
You must build a building and make money renting out its space, so you can make the building bigger. The building must grow. No one renting will mind that the space is always under construction. My main gripe with the game is the thing that you run into with all of these games. It is hard to balance in the start, and then once you find a good way to make money, you quickly become so rich you can build whatever you want.

Placement sort of matters, but if you keep an eye on needs a build to spec as you go, you can build massive commercial blocks next the trash collection rooms, and people will still pay you rent.

Good way to spend 14 hours.

A considerable down grade from the first game. Still no Zen Mode. Stick to the first Overcooked.

This is not FTL. I wanted it to be. Or at least be something. And it almost is.

I did not enjoy the x com series. So, maybe this is just the kind of game I should avoid in the future. But after spending the money, and nine hours.

I found myself restarting after making mistakes. Take a hit to the grid? Okay. three? Errr... lose a pilot? Well you might as well restart now. I beat the game with the Zenith Squad. The only thing I got from the store the whole game was a gun for my tank, so that it could have more than just ramming bugs as its only attack. Besides that, you buy cores to pimp your suits, and spend everything you can adding to your grid.

You could beat the game with your starting line up. I haven't, but I have grinded enough FTL to know that you could get it to work.

I really wanted to like this game. And the worst thing is that it feels like it is just under the surface. That with one or two small tweaks that it could be amazing. I have my ideas about what might help, but this is not the place.

For the price, this is less game than FTL. There is less to replay. Fewer, and thinner choices. Nearly impossible to come back from a single lose.
