Pax Dei is an early access MMO that has promise, and faults.

The games combat system needs a lot of work, and there's a lot that still needs to be fleshed out and completed for this game. But I do understand what they are going for.

Is this a game you should expect to be finished, feature complete, and polished within the near year? Probably not. Are there some weird bugs sometimes? Yes but they are being worked on.

Do not buy this game if you're not here for what the early access is about. Having fun figuring out the systems, providing feedback, and understanding what you're getting into. You can question the practise of them selling the game for early access, and yes. If you don't think you should be spending money to test a game for a group? I don't think you're wrong. Don't do it.

I bought this game to have fun with friends, build some things, and to see where this experience goes over time. It's not perfect, but it's got promise. Many of the reviews are from people who read absolutely nothing about this game. Including that it's not meant to be played solo. Still see those complaints everywhere even though they state it flatly multiple places.
