I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.

This is a great four player pve. The Developer did a great job creating a game that incentivizes teamwork on the squad and community level. The missions are generally simple, do a few tasks, don't die, get the samples, don't die, get back to the ship. They do a great job tying the mission into a sort of campaign that is being crafted on the universal stage. We know eventually at least one more faction is joining the foray, perhaps more in the future to give even more combat diversity. Different planets give different environmental hazards for spice.

This teamwork was most recently seen with the appropriate outrage at the publisher forcing the creation of a playstation account. Before I was worried their success might kill them as they might not be able to handle the large playerbase as well as dealing with glitches and bugs. Then I was worried their publisher would kill them by locking out a huge chunk of the player base(countries that cannot make a PSN account) and turning off another chunk of PC players who simply did not want another account. Playstation, thankfully, has removed this requirement, for which I am thankful.

The missions are great, you can find a level that suits your own desired difficulty. For instance I enjoy the thrill of the high level missions. My spouse is not into many games but she has played this and is actually enjoying it, 5 is the highest she has tolerated and that is a little much for her but that is ok, she likes it.

The community is great, I have never had a bad experience with a random member. There are discords out there for those looking for a more coordinated experience. The built in commands are great for marking the map, but nothing beats comms. For instance, there was a real life major order to review bomb this game, from the devs no less(balls o steel) that was my task today but all the other helldivers already accomplished that yesterday, o7 mates.

Should playstation revert this requirement my as well as many other reviews will likely change.
