It's interesting, but I'm disappointed with the lack of long range shooting options. All of the tall buildings work only against the player. Once you get up there, there's only windows to couple of directions and there are no enemies in those directions because other buildings block your view.

South vacation with the boys. Story isn't as good as SE V2, but gameplay mechanics feel better. Looks and sounds good. There's more open areas and paths to higher sniping positions. Minimap allows player to move faster instead of crawling and guessing whether there are enemies or not.

The bad: there aren't enough sources of loud noises to mask your shots. Sabotaged generators for example have quite small effective radius and aeroplanes fly over you way too scarcely. Shooting 3 times in same area turns every enemy to combat stance. In the end it felt like this shoot-and-relocate mechanic is designed only to waste your time. Often game won't let you go prone even when there's enough space. No silenced weapons beside welrod pistol. Zooming binoculars is slow.

SE V2 hasn't aged all that well.
The good: story taking place in interesting moment of history. Some memorable story moments, sound effects and graphics. Environments look good. Shooting galleries are fun here and there.

The bad: stealth mechanics are awful: moving while crouched is super slow, idle enemies are completely silent, silenced pistol is very inaccurate. In forced fight scenes enemy sharpshooters know your position all the time. Enemies spot you so fast even on normal difficulty that best way to find enemy positions is to stand up and take a hit. Dynamite as an item is completely useless for first playthrough because you can't throw it and need to know enemy locations beforehand. Missions were often too linear and most enterable city buildings are just dead ends instead of optional routes.

I do like the game, but can't overlook the design choice to prevent players from choosing AI to play DLC races that you haven't bought.

FInally you can turn camera 360 degrees in some situations. Also zombie herd doesn't work 2 frames per second anymore.

I had to choose silence quite often because dialogue options didn't match with my thoughts.

Puzzles seem to be more logical or simplified compared to first 2 games. In other words you don't have to inspect every single object in area if you use your brains.

Interesting RTS borrowing gameplay mechanics from CoH, but still needs some quality of life improvements before I'll get back to it.
