VAC bans ......my arse.
My account was hacked and 2 months of e-mails with proof it wasn't me, still couldn't get them rescinded.
That was the time when I bought COD: MW2 - My account got hacked within 24 hours and whoever stole the account managed to get me banned off Multiplayer with a VAC ban within 12 minutes.
That really PISSED ME OFF......£39.99 and couldn't play Multi-player.
Don't get me wrong, I abhor cheats, but after 2 hacks on my account that got me multiple VAC bans, my take on Steam is such that at the time, their protection was ♥♥♥♥.
It's got better over the last couple of years, but still, if you have good, solid proof that it was not you, like I did, then the bans should be rescinded.
