Maybe the best expierence in gaming i had since over a decade.
Nobody who is interested in a good story should skip this.
Here everything comes to one great piece of art. Athmosphere, Music, Writing, Dialogs.
A truly must-played at least once in your life time.
What a game!

So after over 700 hours within one year of playing Hunt, I write an review.
Never played a game before this intense and atmospheric.
Yeah, it has it flawes with trade kills or server pings, but overall, I am enjoying - even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rounds.
Just try it with friends - or if you need help check auf Siegismund tutorials on youtube, as long as you speak german.

Erster Refund meines Lebens, Yeah!

So.
I Played this when it was released years ago and i was stunned and had a lot of fun.
But overall, this game aged poorly.
The time back then, i really liked almost everything about the game.
but as times changed and the open-world based games become greater and better, i really see the things which make me NOT to recommend this game in 2017.

The city is almost empty. after a good and emotional start they throw you into a big city - where you really cannot do anything besides stealing cars or shooting police officers or robbing some shops, which brings you money. money with which you cannot buy anything usefull.

there are no sidequest or anything besides the - more or less - well directed main story line. the streets are just empty.
between story missions, all you have to do is driving. drive their, drive here, just driving. it would be fun, but the driving KI paired with a poor handle of the cars makes you gonna puke. you crash into other cars all the time and if you are unlucky the police will see it and try to arrest you, sometimes for mistakes you haven't even done by yourself.

if your wanted level increases you can buy yourself other clothes or bribe the police with a phone call. woah. boring.

Beside that, the 15 main story chapter are well....lets say "Ok". Nothing special here. Shootings, Robbings, Jobs Done for higher family members. nothing you haven't seen yet. but ok.

If their is one thing a can highly recommened, then these are the radio stations and the soundtrack of the game, which makes driving around the city more bearable. the overall athmosphere is good, but thats more the impact of the good soundtrack then of the grafics or art design. without it, the city stays empty and boring.


If you grab it for some small amount in a sale, ok. then you can have some hours fun with this game.
but don't pay full price. besides some nostalic moments for myself, it remains poor average, when put the soundtrack and some cool characters besides.
