I liked it. I played a little though because of little free time. I think you are going to enjoy it.

I saw your question and figured I'd respond. Hotline Miami is definitely worth the price, assuming you like arcade-style games, gta-type grittiness, and retro-gaming. IMO, it's definitely worth playing through a couple times. I waited to play it through a second time to get all the puzzle pieces so I could see the second ending. It was easier the second time around and I enjoyed picking up a few achievements just for fun. It doesn't have massive replay value but it's good old-school arcade action and it's great if you have a few minutes to kill and want some mindless violence that takes no time to jump in or out of. The soundtrack is great, too. I didn't find it as frustrating to play as some of the reviewers suggested, but it wasn't a walk in the park, either. You do die a lot in each level but there's zero load time, so death isn't a big deal. I'll send you a friend request in case you're interested. If I've played it, I'll always give you my opinion on it if you ask.
