Bought and beat this when it launched on PS4. Bought it on PC to play it again and it's still fun to play. It's a great game with an amazing story. Once you acquire enough weapons to vary your play style there's easy and hard ways to take down certain machines. All in all I'm pretty stoked that this is getting a sequel. There's some unanswered questions and the world itself will be a joy to see again.

The game is loads of fun. In the beginning things will be rough but once you start unlocking things it becomes easier and even more fun. Can't recommend it enough!

I'm an old gamer. I grew up on games like Descent, X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D and a little forgotten gem called Skynet. Skynet was awesome. Everything you could want in a Terminator game. This is more or less the best thing since that which is pretty sad considering how big of a gap there is in time between the two. The game never crashed me on and I didn't experience any bugs, mileage may vary depending on your system. The controls were fine and movement was mostly smooth. This isn't a AAA developed game but it's pretty close. If you're a fan of fighting the machines or the universe in general I suggest giving it a try. It's worth your time unless you're super picky about games being the best of the best.

It's not bad if you catch it on sale. Honestly I wouldn't pay full price for it. All of the voice overs are in Japanese with no English option. The game is fun but it's irritating to hear chatter and not be able to understand it. The graphics are more along the lines of the PS2 era which brings me to my biggest issue. With that in mind I'm on a machine that can run any game at max settings in 4k with no issues. Yet here I have constant frame drops and stuttering, which really screws up the timing for all of the mechanics involving precision. If you don't mind the poor looks and stuttering it's worth giving a shot if you can get it cheap-ish. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it, not unless you're a die hard fan who consumes everything the franchise spits out.

Treat this game like the plague until it's sorted. There's a plethora of bugs and graphical issues, for some people the game won't run no matter what fix you try. When it works like it should walk into it expecting the graphics to look five years old. The crafting system, both personal and settlement, is a nice addition and provides more to do than kill and explore. For now the PS4 version is the most stable and from what I've experienced it's perfect for fans of the series, it lacks a lot of the human and dialogue from previous titles but it's still fun to play. Assuming this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC port gets fixed soon I'll alter my review to reflect that.

Edit : With the beta drivers from AMD the game now runs. As you see in the comments below there are added steps needed to remove stuttering and an odd glaring white effect, other than that it's fine. Save before using terminals ( there's a bug of not being able to get out of it once you sit to use it ) and make multiple save files. There's also a bug of corrupted save files. Google for any other issues but the game is a blast! At least I think so.

The only gripe I have with this game is the preset chat system. You can't type what you want, you pick from a list of predetermined questions and answers. Most of which is spammed. Also be warned that using the voice chat means you have to use headphones of some sort, otherwise people will hear every thing coming out of your computer speakers. Awesome game really! Now if we could only tweak the skill sets in roster characters, such as SSJ4 Goku, it'd be complete.
