As I played this game all i could think was "when does it get good?"

I understand that the game is supposed to be lighter version of X-com, but its a lazy version of Xcom.
It offers less customization of characters/outfits, it offers almost no customization of weapons which prevents you from making your squad feel like it is yours.
-STORY and Missions

The mission decisions have no wide impact on campaign, if you choose to capture war criminal/vip you get nothing in reward, no extra items or resources or hidden content, so its pointless to take additional risks due to lack of rewards.

The story itself is tasteless, boring and predictable. It wastes huge potential of discussing the aftermath of Xcom victory and many socio-political struggles, the characters are 2 dimensional, they have no weight in the story and the player doesn't feel attachment to anyone. the story 'cutscenes' are some of ugliest and laziest i have ever seen, i would like to have an nicely animated cutscenes in key campaigns as a reward. but its just cheap comic images written by average college art school grad. the dialogue is insufferable as i feel like i command a bunch of teenagers whos part-time job it is to kill aliens, there is no feeling of stakes or love for the story and the world in the writing.

The only thought i had while playing this game is "when will it get good?" and it never did, disappointing development of the story, disappointing weapon system where you can't customise your weapons on deeper level, Oh and you can't even restart your character skills. The game also does a terrible job of implementing the tech tree which takes forever to actually develop your squad into a mean xeno killing machine. its shallow and boring, and it felt like a chore. There are only 2 Xcoms, and this ain't it

Great concept outstanding customization of body,clothes,cars,designs and such.
Get's boring after awhile same missions over and over, not to mention bought guns dominate the game so it's pointless to play for free if you're practically going to get kiled by anybody with a golden weapon.

Love it! Great addition to the original if you want to explore certain regios of England,Ireland,Scotland in Britannia campaign, Middle East in Crusader campaign,
Wester Europe in Teutonic campaign and of course South America in Americas campagin.

Suggest using it without cheat codes otherwise you spoil you own fun.

Awesome game if you love strategy with high number of units and being able to watch those units just crash against eachother in endless combat and cavalary being smashed by infantry or infantry killed by wall of pikemen, burning enemy infantry/cavalary with your fire arrows/missles is also optional and enjoyable.
