I discovered this game thanks to the ads that pop up at the starting of Steam, and I have to admit, I've never been so satisfied of these ads. Let me tell you a bit about Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons (NO SPOILER). At first sight, the storyline seems not to be really complicated : a father of two brothers is sick and he may die if he doesn't receive a cure quickly. The doctor of the town then give the two sons a map, which indicate the location of the cure. So the boys go, and begin their long journey into the unknown. What happens next, I'll let you discover it by yourself, but it is full of mysteries, magic and epicness.

What about the game itself ? One of the main interests I have in this game is that it has a gameplay i've never seen before (I'm sure it already exists, but I personnally haven't played like this before) : during the whole game, you control the two brothers at the same time. With your gamepad in hand, left joystick for the big brother, and right joysick for the little brother. You might say "Come on, nothing hard in this", but if you've never played like this, it won't be anything easy. And doing so, the two brothers will have to help each other to get through hundreds of obstacles. As many of the comments below already said, Starbreeze Studios managed to have this game centered on the two brothers, I mean really, not a bit more on one or the other. Everytime, you'll have to think for two, because there are things that can be achieve by only one of the two sons. I really felt brotherhood playing this game, and that is great.

The graphics obviously are not at the same level that The Witcher 3 or other state-of-the-art games, but this is the point. This is not a game where everything is already said loud and clear and you have to follow the path blind eyes. Well, almost, but still, there is this slight part of the game with the graphics and the non-understandable language that leave your imagination free to read into this whatever you like. And that's amazing.

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons is not a long game, and only a few hours are necessary to finish it, but it is worth it. However, I have to admit, 15€ is a bit expensive for only a few hours, but I do not regret my purchase, and I recommend it to you, my fellow Steam gamers.
