The manliest game on steam.

An amazing transition from side scrolling shooter to third person shooter. It largely feels like the same game but adapted to the change in genre.

This game offers the most complete experience of any fighting game. 3 different single player modes (including one for your custom characters), ranked play, casual play, and extremely extensive character creation. Many people will find themselves playing dress up far more than the actual fighting game side.

Hollow Knight is a very gameplay focused experience. There's a deep and interesting lore hidden under the surface but what keeps you playing is the sublime gameplay and immersive world. The enemy variety is wide and the bosses are interesting and challenging. The combat is very simple and responsive. It's entirely about your personal execution, patience, and persistence. The dark and dreary world is compelling and interesting to explore with its unique environments.

Hollow Knight uses the traditional metroidvania format and executes it better than any metroidvania before it.

It's 'Portal lite'. It's an action puzzler. It's not as good as Portal but it is new puzzles to solve. If you finished portal 1/2 and wanted more - this is pretty close.
