I see the developers are still toxic-ally attacking everyone who has an issue with their game. It's rather upsetting to be honest. I thought it would be impossible to be more childish than the Town of Salem developers.

Let the people speak for themselves - The game itself is good, but the toxic nature of this game developer has completely destroyed its potential.


And this is coming from someone with almost 200 hours played.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. Don't waste your time, Town of Salem is the same concept and it doesn't include the stupidest moderator in the world.

I win most the rounds I have played, but the game developer caters to people who report you because they can't understand how you psychologically manipulated them into winning - neither can they understand the concept that you can't trust anyone in a game literally titled Throne of Lies until you have sufficient evidence to deduce truths - which, at times, is best constructed by people turning up dead at night.

The fact that the developer cannot take criticism and targets any negative review and tries to silence people who don't like the game is just that - look at the comments I copied that people are leaving on these reviews and you'll see this pontifical game developer is just a complete clown.


I guarantee they're going to try to EPICALLY DISMANTLE THIS OBVIOUS REVENGE REVIEW!!11!! because the stupid developer can't realize that people are posting genuine concerns, not revenge reviews.


I want my money back. I'm constantly threatened with permanent bans when the reality is, I continually encounter people in game who say they love playing with me and wish they were on my team. I am fostering good community relations, despite the noobs crying 'report him' because I beat them at the game.

This is a controversial game. As such there's going to be moments of tension inherent with lying to people. I'm not breaking rules - the developer is simply failing at trying to please everybody while maintaining his self propagated status of what a supreme intellectual being he is.



Tl;dr

game developer is a child, the proof is in the pudding, don't waste your time - go play Town of Salem instead. much better than this game.



This is clearly not a revenge review, by the way - my 198 hours played asserts this fact. I'm good at this game, I play it alot because I love it, but this cancerous developer needs to be banned from steam.

The fact I've been reported for cheating/sniping says alot about the type of person who reports me - and what they report for. Clearly I'm too good at this game for other players to comprehend how I psychologically manipulated them into my victory. It's funny, isn't it? Players can literally report for any of the options available, just because they don't like you. Naturally people get upset when they lose at a video game, and this game makes people extra mad.
How am I cheating on throne of lies? I don't use discord. I don't bother looking at streams. More logically, players just get upset at losing, and they target me for being the winner (which, more often than not, I end up being the last person alive in these games, though my victory is applied to my whole faction.)
Face it, the reality is this report system is broken. I just was banned again by someone named FabulousCookie because they were crying over wanting to report the prince for gamethrowing. They threatened me with the old "my friend helped the developer develop this game so I'm going to get you banned"

Take a look here at the screenshot of fabulouscookiecat talking in the discord and being supported by a moderator. Keep in mind, fabulouscookiecat is a 15 year old kid.

pre gud 4 free game but i reached level cap and cant questr any more and have to buy it if i want to go further im debating whether or not 2 becuz there doesnt seem to be alot of people to talk to and play with like id want but the people i do meet are friendly 4 da most part but idk :// iots fun for free to play tho!!!
