Cannot recommend at this time for anyone in EU. This is consistently unplayable purely due to size of server queus (15k+ people = several hours) and or server stability in game which puts you back in queue, or even whilst queuing and you rejoin at back of queue. ALL EU servers are in this state, and with friends on one server you rarely get to play as MP with them. Save your time and any funds until Amazon get their server provision and gaming access sorted out. Very poor response for a major corporation.

Still in Alpha, and still really to take off as the Zombie survival game that was promised.

Given the size of map and inclusion of vehicles it becomes a PvP fest rather than a true survival / resource game especially given that the developers reneged on a key selling point: making the map far far bigger.

At present there are better survival games out there with more in-depth mechanics, and more coming in the pipe-line anf H1Z1 has yet to match and then exceed DayZ or Survive The Nights (pre-alpha). H1Z1 (now Just Survive) needs to live up to its initial promises and outline first. It's possible that the "devs" are now glorifed content modders rather than true coding Dev's who'll change and improve game engine and extended or add maps that make for fun gaming? Is there life left in this....? As it is in Alpha, and as a survivor I inject PMA .. but it needs to be proven.

EDIT Update:
21/1/2017. Little has changed other than the developers have the audacity to now ask for RL cash for cosmetic DLC packs for a winter event. Fix and deliver the Alpha game promised rather than running for the nearest easy cash!
Recommendation changed from an optimistic ýes' theycould fix this game to a 'no'', until they demonstrate they have the brains to understand what makes a good game and respond to their community.

*Early Access* Good look and feel, plenty to do. Real sense of foreboding at low to mid-levels especially at night or in the fog. Easy to learn, yet difficult and needs time invested to master.
Good weather effects both visually and on survival. Good pace of content update. Dino's are not entirely accurate, but not too bad either and any elements that's biased is down to the "fun" DNA.
Some issues on griefing on PvP due to sleeper style but that encourages creation or membership of a strong tribe. PvE you just need to find a server where douchbags haven't laid just foundations or pillars everywhere and blocked off swathes of the map.
Map size is reasonable given travel methods and hostility on the ground towards you. Would definitely recommend.

Would love DLC (paid expansions?) on alternate maps and even bigger map sizes, or a map creator / editor for own servers.
