It has some major issues but at its core is a fantastic game with a committed dev team. One of the best sub $50-60 games I have gotten.

I absolutely loved NF when i was younger and was excited when i saw it made its way to steam. Hoping i could relive some of that nostalgia i booted it up and found out all of my high tier ships are gone... I may one day change my review if my account is recovered but would NOT recommend this game to anyone if they are just going to wipe high tier players and expect them to start over from scratch (its a hell of a grind for each ship tree).

Given i had a great experience in df1 and had some lucky encounters that changed things for me. Early on in df1 i was given around 80-100 USD of essentially premium content. I would have more than likely not have played after learning about a $1,000 USD gun and many other crazy things. I loved df1 for what it was and everything from barricadding in the SEZ where all the good loot was to fighting off thousands of zombies with friends in the hospital or bunker.

I think df2 could easily become an amazing game if not only everything in df1 is implemented but support is continued for the game. i ve personally run into issues with forum bugs and other problems on df1 and the staff helped and resolved the problem to the best of thier ability quickly. I cant wait to see what this game has to offor once outpost attacks, more bosses, more mission types, barricadding, and more are implemented. As long as things dont become insanely pay to win and updates continue i cant wait to see whats in store.
