Yes, good simple FPS. graphics are good {Cryengine} Works great on the Steamdeck

I played in single player on Steam deck. Arrow sniping was fun, but enemies were sponges. Good thing you carry 100 arrows! The melee combat was terrible, it's a 3rd person view with your partner dancing around getting in your way. The camera is not stable as you wheel about multiple enemies filling the space: suddenly you're looking up from the ground or off to the side or from behind your companion. The environment will also block your view in these critical moments. Worse yet character and weapon upgrades are slim to none as your enemies become stronger very quickly, oh, now they have heavy armor AND YOU DON'T!
I died a lot in melee because of the camera chaos AND you and your partner can only carry one health potion each, and the lengthy checkpoint save system punishes you for that! Having to go back to the beginning of levels multiple times only to die again just pissed me off! I did not finish the game therefore.

Does not work on Steamdeck

Awesome 3rd person shooter, lots of cutscenes to tie the story together. I didnt care for that. Only playing single player. Works great on Steam deck

Good simple shooter! Go from point A to point B and kill the baddies. Graphics, voice acting and Gunplay is great. No gimmicky baloney, Save points are numerous so you won't have to replay much if you get killed. Works great on the Steam deck BUY IT IF YOU LIKE STRAIGHT AHEAD LINEAR FPS

Would be more fun if enemies wouldnt spawn behind you while trying to kill the enemies in front of you. And in the restricted playing arena there is really nowhere to dodge or hide. On some levels the enemies are the same color as the backgrond! This was on easy difficulty, I was being slaughtered!

Really disappointed. Nothing in the environment is destructible. Can't even use the terrain to your advantage. I have no clue that I'm being hit by enemies out of sight. No clanks off my hull, no camera shake, just BOOM and game over. Would be nice to have some enemy variety too, like strong points and infantry. BUT NOPE another failed tank tank game

Great looking game, but it's pretty dull, repetitive and no shooting.

"Freespace2/Fred2 cannot be run from a root drive directory" This is what I get, cannot play AT ALL.

Apparently there is a bunch of other hoops like downloads from other websites etc needed to make this game work.
I am attempting to do all of this extra crap (so far no go) Which sucks because I have heard it is a great game and I just want to play it.

So this negative review is not about the gameplay, but about Steam not warning the buyer of these "details".

Simple, fun arcade shooter. Exactly what I was looking for and in Munkey's price range!
