This is a wonderful roguelike game. The story centers on the Bergsons family, and to why an evil corruption is spreading across the land. There are multiple family members to unlock throughout the story. The skill tree is excellent with specific skills to unlock for each character, and others that unlock abilities for all the family to use. The gameplay is mostly in dungeons and there are relics and abilities to add through a run. There is a strong sense of lore and narration during the game and back at the house where you can also upgrade more gameplay skills. Graphics are i'd say 16 bit and are nice. The narrator is a great addition.

Would recommend easily.

What can be said that isn't already known about Dark Souls. I started playing it in 2014 and gave it up. With Elden Ring coming out I decided to try it again. I probably put over 200 hours in it nights after work for months. Learning the ins and outs about where to farm souls and trying to get thru boss fights. I hate boss fights in general. I did it with some help from friendly NPCs (I admit). For me it was worth it and once the game "clicks" I just couldn't put it down. The guides are extremely helpful now also. Not for everyone but glad I stuck through it.

Incredibly addictive game. Where did this come from and so cheap? The progression is really good as are the variety of weapons and characters. Early access so expect some good things from it in the future.

Update: Now 145 hrs. in, all achievements (as of now). I can say the game is incredible. So simple yet full of depth. The price point is insane. Well done devs.

Update Part Deux: 220 hrs. plus and works great on the steam deck.

Probably my favorite LEGO game. This isn't based off a franchise, it's more of a mini GTA. There is 15 missions, tons of collectibles (maybe too much) and characters to unlock. It's massive. At this point you know what you are getting from a LEGO game.

A masterpiece of a game. Game came out in 2012 and is still one of my favorites. Great story and characters. Love the voice acting too. Play guns blazing or rat chewing or go the ghost route and try to not kill anyone the entire game. You can do it. On to the second one now.

With the release of Psychonauts 2 I decided I needed to finish the first. Started playing it in 2013, so a restart was in order. Man what a ride this game is. I can see why this and the new one get such great reviews. The story is really unique and fun, also the characters and voiced dialog is excellent. Raz is such a cool hero. The mental powers are a great game mechanic. Controls seem really good. Going up PSI levels will grant extra powers to make the game easier. Tons to do and varied levels.

The only issue I can think of is that it is an older game so some of the QOL things you get in newer games are missing.

Loved it, please try it. You might even already own it.

Always enjoyed this game, way back when it was on the 360. The PC of course runs better. Remastered version gives you the extra DLC and enhanced textures. The controls are really tight and what's nice is you have multiple ways to get thru levels. Decent story, well worth it for me. Just a fun ride.

First off you should be a fan of the show (I am), it does help with the story. Second, gotta love the 80's! The game is a 16 bit homage to the era. So i'm old and love it. Not much else to say really. I enjoyed it, maybe you will too!

I'm sorry, really. I reinstalled it and tried again after 6 years. It's just bad, like getting a bad rotting potato hidden in the bag. It just stinks. I'll watch the ending on youtube and call it a day. Get Alien Isolation instead. Now that’s a great game.

What a lovely fun chill game. Nothing too difficult and a great story so far. You play as a detective with a troubled past trying to find out who murdered you. You are also tasked with helping lost souls cross over to the other side.

I finally finished the game and story and I would love to have a sequel... I doubt that will happen but I really enjoyed this game. It was a nice change of pace and a great story. Maybe you already have this in your steam library, or find it on sale.

I found the graphics for a game released in 2014 to be pretty nice. The character models are ace and the acting is great.

You also can play as a cat. 🐱
