Some sort of demon lord has appeared and you need to bang some anime waifus to seal him away. But you have to beat them first at a simplistic match 3 game.

Mechanics of the game based on a series of coloured gems making their way to a goal. If they get to that goal you loose. If you run out of health you loose. You win by matching 3 or more coloured balls in a row and destroying the snake of coloured balls by shooting them at the ballsnake. Different coloured balls do different things. Eg a magic attack, restoring your own health etc. The mechanics of that bit are mostly for show and dont make a big difference in the grand scheme of things.

Win 3 times and unlock an interactive H scene. You can then touch the girls etc. Doing it enough removes clothes and you can interact a bit more intimately. Win 4 times and you can have some smex.

Uses a lot of assets from the excellent Mirror. That's not to say that the artwork and the H scenes are not good as they are decent. It just appears that a lot of the mechanics carried over/borrowed dont contribute to the game. (eg some of the spells, items you can use to finish the fights.) There are achievements linked to the spells and owning them all, you just likely wont use any. You can 100% it in a couple of hours. With some of the harder cheevos being linked to watching some long dialogue in the epilogue. The other being the "get 6 combos" one. Nothing impossible though, if cheevos are your thing. Once finished you can come back anytime to do the H scenes or play more rounds of the game.

Art work is great, the slightly animated characters move and wiggle and moan/squeak etc when needed. Its pretty decent. Story wise, its probably OK, but I clicked through it all for the cheevo grind and seeing the relevant girls. The game doesnt actually tell you a lot during the H scenes. You have to figure it out, in Mirror you have to build a bar to proceed through these. Here you dont need to but hey ho.. it only costs £1.50 or so and you likely wont care. Plus each girl has two H scenes. One where you can touch and interact the other where you smex.


This was a decent distraction and ok for a game with "hentai" in the title. Much better than some of the other ones and as stated already the art and general layout/finish of the game is high.

I find these games a mildly relaxing distraction from the usual guff I buy. Its relatively straight forward solving the images for some anime tiddys. You have the option of making the pictures more H but it doesn't change the difficulty. I have all the others and rushed to the midnight opening to pick up my copy of the game with all the other gentlemen with refined taste.

Given the price, yeah I wasnt dissapointed, candy bar costs more and because its more of the same and it amuses me to see so many games in my library that have the word "hentai". I look forward to explaining to my daughter when she is old enough to use my PC.

Buy it anyway to complete the collection of other games of this ilk in your possession and have some cheevo letters to spell out junk on your profile. Woo

I am writing this as 40+ bloke.

Held off playing LiS because I assumed it was a teen wank drama fest. I was pleasantly surprised as I am fan of stuff like Twin Peaks and all the small references and the general feeling of the town in the Pacific Northwest were great. That along with the genuine feeling of choices and impact stuff would have on a story was really well done.

After finishing that I picked up Before the storm in the sale. I was somewhat apprehensive as I did not like Chloe in the first game. What a slog, it's everything i thought LiS was going to be hence why I never picked it up on release.

Takes 8 hours or so, because you are stuck watching cutscenes and dialogue you cant advance. Id prefer to read the content faster than the lines are delivered since I don't care much about the story since the outcomes of the characters lives is irrelevant given what I already know happens in LiS. Spend the game being nice to David? Didnt matter, because you are a ♥♥♥♥ to him in LiS. Will our heroes survive this dangerous engagement? Of course, since we've already seen the future! Its likely my age, as I do see a lot of praise for the game. However as an older chap I found the teen drama and "I'm a rebel screw the world haha" attitude of the two main characters grating. I suppose it does flesh out characters like Chloe and Frank a little more, plus give you some background into the relationship Chloe and Rachel had and why it was so important Chloe tracked her down in LiS.

Id rather have enjoyed it at my own pace. Which would be about twice as fast. (Still able to take it all in, but without the time consuming aspect). You could likely read the wikipedia entries and story overview instead. I'd say its for fans only, but then I consider myself a fan of the original since it had so much better emotional impact. I wanted to like it, but it was a struggle to finish.

If you liked/related to Chloe then go for it, if you found her childish or annoying then you likely wont enjoy the game as much.

Ending (after credits scene) hits you in the balls tho. :(

3 different games styles.

One is like pong, knocking a ball back at animals to reveal a picture.

One is like snake, but avoiding other cat faces as you reveal more picture.

The other i just straight up forgot. Might have been a puzzle one like all the others that have the word hentai in them.

Didnt really pay attention to the art, its well done I guess if you like furrys and muzzles etc. Will probably take you between 1-2 hours of mild amusement to 100% due to the randomness of two of the main games. Plus the 10 minutes of staring at the screen trying to figure out the controls or exactly how to play. But at least the cheevos show up on your steam profile if you care about that sort of thing.

Actually a decent ish puzzle. Some of the later puzzles get harder when they change the system. Plus its nice to have an actual puzzle rather than some trivial crap to see your bewbs. You are not permenantly looking at bob whilst playing either and the music is relaxing and the art reward is nice.

Thought this was going to be garbage but was actually ok.

It clearly wants to be as in depth as huniepop which is basically the same sort of “plot”. You get to date several attractive girls with different personalities. They have different things they like, food and clothing wise which can purchased and gifted to them allowing more dates.

The dates themselves are a puzzle bobble style game. Each date varies and does get more difficult as you are given less moves/more specials etc in which to unlock a certainnnumver of heart tokens in amongst the coloured balls. The music is pretty chill and this aspect of the game is pretty good. The dating bit needs a bit more work to have more impact but for a cheap H dating game I was pleasantly surprised.

Each girl (currently 7) can be dated 5 times by increasing the Heart meter either by successfully winning dates each day or grindingb the challenge mode and buying gifts. As you progress the girls get less clothed before finally on the 5th date you get a “playable” H scene.

Art is nice, characters are nicely animated and as far as I can tell the voice acting is good and different for each girl. The bulk of the actual gameplay mechanic is pretty decent and enjoyable and I assume as the game gets worked on by the developers more the other aspects such as the store/likes dislikes and conversations you can have with the girls by asking questions about themselves will be fleshed out.

Extremely simplistic "dating sim battle" game. The girls simply need to be defeated in a series of increasing rounds of rock paper scissors. Then they lose their clothes and someone hastily eats yogurt near them. Or it rains in localised areas, I cant tell. At least they have faces I guess. I don't think you can "die" and you just keep going until you succeed.

Some limited sound, so a real life girl actually made some "oooooh", "mmmm" etc vocalisations. So we are more technical than previous games from the same developer. Background music reminds me of old fantasy games. Perhaps you are a mage idling in the woods near the starting village. More soothing than the ♥♥♥♥♥ series of games music.

Currently does not have achievements so not as satisfying to play. After all, why buy a game called Wet beach ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you cant show your friends you spent 30 minutes getting 100% on a game with such a ridiculous title?

Still, at least it wasnt a overly difficult puzzle game, its purely chance.

About as hard as the first, although as a benefit they have toned down the scrolling cats in the background for less headaches and replaced with something less invasive so you can actually navigate the menu.

The art work is merely OK. Although the game is a technical improvement over ♥♥♥♥♥ as whilst clothed the characters are nude once you complete the puzzle. Complete with some yoghurt spillages here and there. Some of the art work is a bit poor and looks like severe internal dislocations or misplaced limbs however the "important" bit is drawn well. I guess. I read a book once describing one and it seems to add up anyway.

Still a fairly lame game, but you likely dont care and only bought on the off chance the achievements unlock and you can have something amusing in your library to bemuse your friends.

A tile matching game. Harder than it looks and not particularly engaging or as relaxing as some similar cheap H games.
Lack of borders makes it a tad harder to solve the puzzles but the art is ok if you like fantasy elves.

Bought as part of a bundle that cost as much as a drink and choc bar. Will dress up your steam profile and make your friends laugh at you along with your anime avatar and your name/tag spelt in cheevo spam letters.

Gave me a headache, but I’d buy it again anyway just for the luls.

Harder than the usual flipping tile or swapping puzzles, this is more like the cheap plastic puzzles you’d get as a kid. But with anime tiddys. Hopefully will do well enough for the achievements to count as that was basically why I bought them.

The scrolling cat background is distracting and will hurt your eyes. I actually got my wife to do these as she is better at them than I am. As I write this she is playing the game. I will likely never play them again once I have “completed” the 10 pictures.

Not as fun as I expected.
