Early Access Review
Sorry. But as it is now it's not just waste of time and money, it also makes headaches by playing (even on minimum graphics the effects are to blurry and produce strong motionsickness even for someone who plays pilotgames). The tutorial is more of a time drain than a help (seriously? Run 20 meters away because you cant build a fire next to the NPC, go back and THAN get the quest to cook meat over the same fire?)
maybe in some years, for now it's just another victim of "AI can solve everything " (spoiler it doesnt) : /

nice try, maybe remake it from the scratch

I may miss Nod, but the good ol vipes are in these games as well <3

It conentrates on the game-aspects more as for special effects or stuff that tricks you thinking it is good and needs just more money...it IS good..well if you can ignore the graphics :D

It remains a compelling game. Certainly, it faces its share of challenges, but the preceding installment also encountered initial issues. The game developers are actively addressing the concerns and issues brought forth by their community. Some solutions materialize swiftly, while others take longer. Instances of desynchronization and bugs have notably diminished. In the third part of this game, a highly requested feature is now available: the option to play with more than two players, among other additions. (The integration of the previous installments into this project contributes to its immense scope.)

True, there has been a recent misstep regarding their pricing alignment with the value they offer. Nevertheless, it would be unwise to hold the developers and designers accountable for this, and especially to label the entire project as subpar due to some shortcomings that may arise as a result.

Furthermore, considering that they might rectify the game's situation, which can be hindered by downvotes, will individuals reconsider revising their negative ratings to positive ones? Or is the rating system only leveraged as a means to express dissatisfaction?

One of the best Game series ever (i wouldn count C6C4 for it...even if Joe d Kucan is one god of an actor )
Westwood was a good developer company (recommend to try the petroglyph games too)

I grew up with these games. If you love rts games you will love it too. Maybe its not perfectly balanced, but the story is nice and you will have a lot of ways to play the factions as you like : D

Early Access Review
I realize it's still in Early Access. There is still a lot to do, even if it has a lot of potential and is already doing a lot right. I'll submit suggestions at the end. I don't know if the development team reads them, but I tried.Because in itself the game is really good for its beginnings. I would recommend it. But people who want a full gaming experience should wait a bit.

Pro: It has promising mechanics. The idea of the ghost clearly interacting with the players (pulling people around, peeking around corners..) is something that's lacking in many games of this genre. More of that! The equipment gives the feeling that professionals are really at work. The idea of examining, identifying, and then exorcising the spirit is nothing new. But you don't have to reinvent the wheel either. The strength of the game is not what it has like other games, but how it implements them and brings in its own ideas. For example, one can guess that one is at the mercy of the spirit as long as one cannot say what it is. (Some protections do not work against certain types of spirits.)Because the ghost doesn't show up right away, you can't get spoiled by its appearance. Nevertheless, the phase of the unknown is still felt a little short.
At least the spirit becomes more aggressive when it realizes that it is getting the better of it. (Increased aggressiveness with progress)

Con: The lighting system is really terrible (A flashlight doesn't have to cover everything, but at least be portable in the second hand! Also on the shoulder or in the mouth, I suppose) What the devices give in terms of professionalism, you lose in the fact that you is unable to carry a flashlight off-hand in poorly lit rooms.I suspect that with the darkness more horror should be built. But it's not realistic that the rooms are usually so dim and poorly lit. Some events always happen in the same places (let objects fly, objects move)That takes away the replay value. In addition, a threat that can be "easily" repelled is not a threat. 'Oh you just have to throw the grenade when he touches you? Ok here it goes.'
You have the feeling that the spirit always knows where you are. So hiding is not an option. In the fight or fright reflex, the only thing left is the fight. Is that the point in a horror game?

So what ways could be taken to smooth out the blunders?
-Significantly more event types that interact with players (maybe even depend on what they do and say about a certain probability)
-Simple tricks to identify the spirit should not be first in the order of exorcism (Run through the house and turn on 5 lights for a child, turn on 5 faucets for a drowned person)
-There should be more false friends on defense. Maybe even things that make the Ghost even more aggressive if you use them believing they will protect.
-The ghost shouldn't show its real form until you've logged it in somewhere (maybe you need to call it or speak on the Ouija board or put a ghost tablet on the ghost type's icon...so speech impaired people can play it) Similar to e.g. Obsideo power. Otherwise, there are too many benefits and the horror is gone.
-very clear: when switched on, light sources should be available in such a way that they cover the room.(No one installs lights so there are dark corners. If necessary, there would always be another lamp for them) If you really want to play with the dark, you can do events that make lights unswitchable or flickering for a while. Turn off lights and have a piece of furniture in the way so you can't get to it for a while.Makes certain evidence only visible in the dark or events appear in the dark. The spirit could also become more aggressive or meaner through light.
-Please have flashlights carried in the other hand or on the shoulder.
-How about an item that doesn't let the active-carrying player see the ghost everywhere, so you can hide from him ?(line of sight reveals him again for the ghost, of course). So hiding would be an option and less of a deathmatch with the ghost.
-Bug fixes of course (Like getting stuck in items after the ghost grabbed one behind.)
-Tasks like "open all the doors", "light all the candles" are cool, only stupid if the spirit behind you is very active in reversing this process. It should be possible to not have to light things that you have already set on fire again to progress quests. (Especially in big maps.)
- More content of course :)

It's a pretty simple game. The setting is already known from other RTS: You hold a fortress and try to expand in the meantime in order to be better equipped for later waves.
The game is probably not trying to be revolutionary either. (The depth of play could show up in a few months or years). It inspires with the feeling of success to get a little further with every playthrough, so that one could think: It is a tough but fair game.

So far there are two heroes and a kind of "Tech Tree", but you will not really find really individual play here either. As well as constant progress or benefits from the individual games, one should not expect.
However, these are all problems that can be blamed on the young age of the game. I only find it really annoying that the ballancing of individual special opponents does not work at all. So the heavily armored creatures are no later than night 27 in the great wave with the weak units, which you ve got(all maxed out to the brim) hardly or not at all feasible. Stuffing the new explosive creatures in between forces you to only play on buildings and artillery (Melee-Infatery is simply not affordable for what it costs)

keep developing, then the game could turn into a very exciting thing. (I am particularly pleased with the upcoming multiplayer. Sensible groups would also be a good idea)
