The game is growing on me, it surprised me that it played so well when I expected some clunkiness, it's fun and gritty with some legitimately nice speed feedback. For a free experience so far it's definitely worth a try if arcade vehicle combat with Greenskins appeals to you.

It is however very light on maps and despite some apparent effort via patches there is a persistent and very noticeable issue with hit registration that should be the main focus of the team. Presentation wise it's OK, technically unremarkable but the style works, the vehicle models are charming and the terrain is adequate. The visual customisation is good, not exceptionnal (I'd expect to be able to tweak more stuff like the ork crews and score screen "avatars"), that's what would get me to throw some teef in if development comes steady and content is expanded.

Free game that I would gladly have paid for, the only barrier to entry is the theme and atmosphere, and even then it might grow on you (it did for me, simping Kaela for the foreseeable future).

Great sense of atmosphere and the best rendition of the Mechanicus I've seen, excellent music and sound design. The core loop is fun but some systems are somewhat unintuitive and could use streamlining.

I feel the game would be better off if it was balanced to support a shorter run, as unfortunately a lot of the weapons and equipment upgrades are very linear, after you unlock the first tier of each type early in the campaign you'll mostly just be getting incrementally better stats. Tech-Priest disciplines have a bit more going on in terms of potential combinations but as they apply to gameplay there just isn't much variety in the end.

Nevertheless I enjoyed it quite a lot, I just had to adjust my expectations along the way and get my fill before completion as I knew there wasn't enough depth to attempt another playthrough.
