My review is just a word of caution in case you are interested in single player only. In single player you are given a short grace period to build before the AI starts spawning units all over the map. Even the very easiest AI defeated me 100% of the time within the first 20 or so minutes. If you enjoy the RTS genre do check this game out but don't expect to play around in singleplayer. Perhaps grab a friend for multiplayer if you want to learn at your own pace.

This game has a lot of potential if you find you enjoy it. You can check out some of the VODs on YouTube to get a feel on how to play it. Also the developers are active in the community which is awesome.

I purchased Planetary Annihilation back when it was $90 and just available on steam. It is about a year later and it is still not released and STILL unplayable on my machine.

pretty awesome Diablo II knock off. i did not care for the cartoonish graphics but otherwise it was very enjoyable. its like a more cartoonish improved Diablo II with a different storyline. it has no DRM i am aware of and is a great time waster while you wait for Diablo III.

yet another modern military shooter but with a different story.

1. DRM?: nope! although clearly designed for muliplier the single player isn't too shabby +2
2. broken?: was at launch but unk now since i havent't played it in a long time +exempt
3. had fun?: i enjoyed it for a single playthrough of the campaign +1

this is a fun game with a neat storyline. my issue with this game is the $50 price tag on an incomplete game. though labled as released the game is clearly in beta stage since the sound & animation glitch ALL THE FREAKING TIME. i'd wager THQ will patch the issues eventually as they have done with other titles (eg supreme commander 2). oh this game appears to have no DRM. unless you can't wait give this game some time to become more stable and reflect a more accurate price tag of around $30.
