Gets me into it more than other FPS for some reason, feels like you really have enough room to flank and be a little more tactical than some other FPS

Very tight Versus mode multiplayer playing as special infected is one of the most sastisfying feeling in anygame. Reality mode requires an extra degree of cooperation to survive, mic's definitely necessary. Lot's of excellent mods for single player. Has in it's time been frequently updated for free. Another great example of Valve putting customers first on the way to profits rather than putting profits first
