I am an old scrub, never been good at combos, never put in the time.
This game is fantastic, it has a good single player experience, robust training mode to practice, challenging combo missions. The magic is how I have stuck with it and gotten better than I have even been at King of Fighters. I still get totally washed online, but I don't mind, it's fun to play anyway. If there is any problem, it's too much variety, too much to chose from, a lot to learn to master 3 characters at a time. I plan on playing this for years, it's rewarding enough to bring me back to fighting games after a long time away.

This game is good in story mode, but is a sorry, glitch-ridden excuse for a platformer. For 100% in this one, expect to play for hours just attempting the same garbage platforming, with random camera movements and fixed angles. Some platform "chalenges" are just broken level design. Climbing Isenguard depends entirely on if the auto-grab wants to work on your 20th try at a top rope or bar.

Play for the fun and quit before it gets frustratingly broken on the map world.

7/10 for being incomplete fun

Fun? It's Duke Nukem level violent, but written by Nathaniel Hawthorne and HG Wells. The main story is a paradox about asshats using time-space rift machines to ruin thousands of lives, across millions of quantum realities, but then frames this in the horrors of racism and debt slavery, forcing the player to participate in either harming or helping people he can never save. The ending is not satisfying, but the story is compelling enough that I finished it. Does that mean it's good?
