After waiting quite a few months for the game to get multiple patches to get the game to release state, I came back and finished the last two chapters.

1) The overall story was pretty good and kept you interested in seeing what happened next. The character interaction and myriad of plot twists kept me playing longer than I should have. 4.5/5

2) Combat mechanics were interesting and enjoyed them for their XCom like similarities. Mixing cover, buffs/debuffs and synergies between characters made combat interesting. 4.5/5

3) Character building was pretty robust. I wish that they had a better UI when character building and looking at the various ways to build allowed you to see what was coming up or to compare lists of taken skills while looking at new ones. I like the game within the game to make good builds, but this was more laborious than it needed to. I would have liked to be able to see and plan ahead but I did not see a way to do so. 4/5.

Would I recommend it today?
- Yes, definitely if it were on sale. Given the condition that it is in at the time of this update, its a solid 8.5-9/10. It is just a shame they released it early in a very buggy condition that brought it to its knees.

Would I recommend another title from the Developer?
- Yes with the caveat of waiting at least a month to see reviews on the condition of the release. If it is buggy enough that you need a tool to finish quests, come back in 6 months to a year and check the reviews and see if it is patched enough. Don't reward them for a buggy game that tarnishes what could have been a great game at release.

Overall the base game is fairly well implemented and is interesting Life in the grim dark is enticing and fun.

However, there are so many quests bugged the deeper you go in, it begins to becomes unenjoyable. I highly recommend waiting at least 3-6 months till they patch the game to release quality and avoid the myriad of quest bugs that are bringing it down. One should not have to use a plugin like toolbox to progress quests or tweak things to have quests function as they should.
