Some positive reviews say don't believe the haters. In this case, believe the haters.

Overall: It's very fun but extremely flawed. I'd recommend getting it at a deep discount or skipping.

The Good: Great combat, frequent and fun big battles, silly and amusing consequences of AI and RNG fantasy. Capcom inventory management is like a drug (click click snap!), Varied gameplay from class-er-vocation to vocation.

The Bad: Some purposefully obtuse quest design makes it easy to fail quests in a way that feels unfair. Dialogue ranges from mediocre to obnoxious. (I ought not bought aught, master!). The world-building is mostly stale, but when its unique, it's mostly bad and in clear service of gameplay mechanics (e.g. the nature of "pawns.") Really expensive fast travel means lots of walking, and walking in the game is fun due to exploration and random big encounters, but, well-see the ugly.

The Ugly: Inexcusably god-awful save management exacerbates all of the problems above. Microtransactions so egregious they literally have defined the game--why is fast travel so painful? It's transparently so I'll shell out a couple of bucks so I can warp. Why is the save system so incredibly stupid? So Capcom can try to sell me consumable items.

I have heard that late-stage capitalism ruins everything. It certainly ruined Dragon's Dogma 2. Props to all the artists and developers who made this fun despite the greedy, soulless execs who set out to ruin it.

Absolutely fantastic. I did not know rainpunk city simulation roguelikes were a thing, but now I love them. Or at least this one.

Incredibly zen, very addictive, fun, and quirky. Sandrock is a stronger entry than My Time at Portia and a fun, light builder title.

Simply amazing that it can live up to the hype. Bravo, Larian.

Early Access Review
A fun diversion for those who like Battle Brothers, but less deep and no random world generation.

The launch was rocky. Not rocky, bad. And the cosmetic system is currently greedy in a way the devs have acknowledged and pledged to fix. And the UI is really obtuse at times. And... and... and...

But it's Blood Bowl. It's just so bloody good.

It has model customization, lacking since BB1. It has sensible new rules. It has improved graphics and a built-in amazing community. And at it's heart, it's the most fun I can have on a PC. I just love this game, and despite the launch, I still recommend it to everyone I talk to.

Bethesda RPGs are always great, and always have tons of bugs. This is no exception. But now I cant reload my save.

So a door for a quest bugged out and didnt work. Then suddenly it did. But the server crashed, kicking me back 5-10 mins to the outside of a mine. So I ran it again. And the bug was back. And then I restarted. And ran AGAIN. And the bug was back.

Repeat twice more and Ive burned through most of my ammo and healing for it. And all I have to show for it is an hour wasted dealing with this slapdash QA on a main questline.

I'd say wait for them to work out the bugs, but this is the new, supposedly less-buggy version. I can't imagine what the game was like at release.

Save your caps.

Good gameplay. Fun customization. Fast combat. But horrible writing, poor puzzles, and an annoying narrator. On the whole worth playing, but maybe wait for a sale.
