Still early in the game, but what we have here is a 2d platformerish type game that has some slight Inside vibes with Lovecraftian horror. It has a crafting system and different ways to deal with enemies, stealth, direct melee throwing weapons. The melee ones have a durability system and when worn completely, they break, but can be repaired with the right unlockable recipe. There is also a trauma system, as you encounter enemies, stress level builds and you get your typical lovecraftian traumas, the final one being your death. loot varies if your killed and have to do a do over. there are 2 modes of play, the basic one where you can save in your camp, and the more brutal one where it only autosaves as you progress story wise. if you screw up, your stuck with the consequences. When on a level, you can return for loot that you either can't pick up due to being full or other things that have a benefit (why would you waste something that removes 90% of your stress when its barely full) Save it and hit that before leaving the level, which once a level is cleared, you can't return to that exact same location. Story wise I'm engrossed, if on the fence, thats what your freindly neighborhood playthrough is for, Only watched one for 3 minutes to determine "yep my tkind of game".

If you long for nostalgia type games like Missle Command and such, you will like this, yes its pixelated, but I've had and continue to have alot of fun with this. You choose a dome and type, along with 2 type of characters, each has their own upgrade tree and you spend time digging for resources to upgrade and complete tasks, depending on game mode. You have to return to your dome and fend off attacks, upgrades make you think, do i upgrade shields/weapons or movement and harvesting speed to acquire resources faster? You'll like it.

Ive had my eye on this for a good bit now, and was on the fence, but with a recent sale I thought why not? What I have is something that plays similiar to Raft. You start off in an early ancient period, and from the title screen obviously a member of a civilization that has mastered time travel. You start in an early unknown period with only the broken time travel device and utilizing rocks at first, you travel to different eras and aquire more sophistcated resources as you go, the tech tree seems simple at first. Vehicle use is a thing as you go into the different eras, I just reached the part where begin buidling a basic base, So far I'm really likeing it, and you can re-visit other eras as far as I'm aware (only on Dino and primitive eras ATM) Only issues I'm having is some performance issues, but I may up against a hardware limitation, plus a suspected failing GPU. What I will say is the game WORKS, which is a thing for games these days. If in doubt, Id recomend watching a playthrough or 2.

As a fan of all things Bioshock, Ive had this on CD since it was bundled with games for windows live, and it was crash city back then. It utterly amazes me how such creative thought and ideas can be put into a game, yet they miss out on quality control. The remaster looks a tad better, but frankly i would have accepted a remaster with same graphics as before but with all the bs crashing issues fixed. While I thouroughly enjoyed this one, even more than number one, your going to have to spend time spamming the quicksave key while scouring the web for solutions. While I can give it a recomend i will warn it crashes WAY more often that the first one.

I first played Bioshock when it came out on D, and loved it then, The remaster is just as fun with some visual improvements, Story is the same, but also includes a museum level where you can see early ideas for the game along with 3 challenge maps similiar to Bioshock 2's protector trials. Some people have reported crashes, and whiel I have had a few, overall its running ok, I just spam the quick save key so I don't lose progress if it does decide to crash.

This game instantly grabbed my attention, my dad had a station wagon just like this when I was really young, and I loved that flipping car, anyhow, 5 seconds of a lets play video and I instantly knew it was my kind of game, even though I'm still learning things in it, having a blast, despite do overs for my rookie mistakes.

Edit: the Devs have since added a customizeable auto-save and added the ability to suspend a run and pick up right where you left off. More game customization options have been added, whether parts wear and how fast or slow, how fast/slow storms advance etc.

This one is also a hit or miss for some folks, and like Arkham Asylum, I initially could play it, and it was giving similar error that Asylum did. Assuming your among the ones it works for, This one had an even stronger story line and greater freedom of movement and things to explore.

While some folks have issues with this game, I was lucky that it worked for me, then I started having similar issues, on a whim i reinstalled and now its working, barring some stutter at a specific point in the game.

Assuming it works for you, you can look foreword to an engrossing game with a solid story and creative use of the techniques and gadgets you unlock. The game offers a solid lore base, and I have replayed it many times. Only thing I'm not wild about is the challenge mode, though these do give you chances to practice and find ways to deal with enemies. What you acquire in story mode is what you use in the challenge maps.

If one likes games like Inside, limbo, Trines 1-5 and the 2 Ori games, one will like this. It also has some Journey vibes, You interact with a variety of puzzles, and defeat guardians of different worlds, you also go in/out of these worlds and can pick them up and use them as pieces to advance the game. Still not sure of the exact story, but this game is different and I'm really liking it so far.

I saw this about 2 months back, put it on the wish list, and for being done by ONE developer, I have to see it was a fun game, and I couldn't quit playing, due to a 7 hour straight play through. I hope we get more either a sequel and/or dlc.
