He has been regarded as having the highest number of kills by any soldier in any war. 505 confirmed plus 37 unconfirmed. A unofficial front line figure puts it at over 800 kill's. He was also credited as having over 200 kills with the Suomi KP/-31 sub`machine gun, Bringing it to a total of 705 kills.
