tl;dr: This DLC is essentially its own Game with all Pros and Cons of a Full game. However its not as good as the Base Game i give it an 8/10. If you enjoyed Elden Ring this is a clear Purchase recommendation from me ;)

Longer Version:

The Size of this DLC is a blessing and a curse. Its slightly worse then the Base Game in that regard. There is less to discover, 3 vast empty Areas that should have been filled with Loot or at least some interesting Field Boss encounters (all 3 Areas are leading to Boss fights later down the line but they could have been reduced in size by 75% and you wouldn't notice a difference.. that's how empty they are).

Some Bosses have extremely Jank hit boxes that are in no shape or form justifiable (i speak about attacks missing you with a vast visible gap but still counting as a Hit, projectiles that have hit boxes almost twice their visible size and more).

The Visual cluster♥♥♥♥ of some Bosses and their attacks is really really bad. Especially the Size of certain bosses messes so hard with camera and/or general visibility that avoiding their attacks as a melee Build is sometimes more luck then skill.

The Powerlevel of the Loot you can find or earn is arguably a bit too low. It feels like the FromSoft Team was afraid of making many of the aviable weapons, spells or incantations too strong and it ended up with most of the cool new toys feeling like they are Mediocre at best. Especially the vast Majority of weapons feels underwhelming when compared to Weapons you can find in the Base game with less Effort attached to them.

All in all this is an amazing Experience. People call this Elden Ring 2 and to be honest.. they are not wrong. Its a bit smaller then the basegame sure but its still similar or even more content then many of the Previous FromSoft Titles had to offer. If you enjoyed Elden Ring this is a clear Purchase recommendation from me ;)

One of the best games i have played in the last 10 Years. Some good old Co-op PvE fun with stunning visuals, good music and great Humor.

If you like Freelancer you will love this Game.
If you liked Everspace you will love this Game.
If you wait for Star Citizen to finally release (lol) you will definitely love this Game.
Word cannot describe how good this game is. The only negative thing i can say about it is that it doesn't have more Content then it already has. After over 120 Hours i simply want MORE of it... that's how good i think the game is. One of the very few Games i confidently give a 10/10 rating.

Unfortunatly i gotta say.. 30XX is worse then 20XX in almost every regard. It looks worse, it plays worse, the enemies are worse, the Powers are worse, the passive upgrades and the core system are worse. Only the soundtrack is much better. I would love to say something else but after beating one Run i have enough. Every fibre of my being wanted to go back to 20XX.

This game is Amazing! If you like XCOM this game feels good. If you like Roguelites this game feels even better. The only negative i can think off after my first 4 Hours is that Bosses spawn too many Mandrakes making your Melee Heroes much harder to use :P

Dont let the rather boring and confusing Screenshots fool you! This game is incredibly fun and for such little Money you cant go wrong. I cant wait for future Patches to add more content. Definetly buy it now or put it on your Wishlist and wait for more Content or the full release! This game is a blast to play.

Edit: The Problems below seem to be Fixed for now. I was able to play multiple Hours without a single Disconnect. I will still keep the Text in since it took them over a Year to fix something this gamebreaking and people should know what they get into :P As it is now i can highly recommend the Basegame. Its a fun gameplay Loop and the Main Character is a refreshing "realistic" type that doesnt go on about random Troupy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. He was a Goal, he wants it done and he wants it done FAST :D











This game makes me very Angry. Well not the game itself in all honesty but the Developers or the Publisher. Why? Simple:

This game is a pretty good Game IF AND ONLY IF YOU ARE ABLE TO PLAY IT! Yes you did read right! Constant server issues (that are present since Launch in APRIL 2021) make playing the game a Gamble.. you can get disconnected every 10-20 Minutes or you are Lucky and you can play for an Hour or Two with no disconnects. The Devs or the Publisher seem to not give a single ♥♥♥♥ about this Issue as said before ITS THERE SINCE APRIL 2021! I got this game on a 50% sale and would not recommend it at Full Price at all and with the ongoing server Issues i wouldnt even recommend it for 50% off. The Gameplay as fun as it is doesnt matter if you cant really play the game.

If you like gambling and repeating long Missions over and over and over again because the Servers keep disconnecting you all the time this is the game for you!

All in all its a Decent Game. Dice made a few wrong decisions and to release this as a "Live Service" Game is probably the biggest. We Battlefield Fans are used to get most of the Content on Purchase and not drip fed to us Piece by Piece. I dont know their Future Plans for this game but i hope the Free Content Updates offer us not only new Maps but new Weapons, Vehicles and Factions (like the Chinese).

Would i recommend it? If you enjoy Battlefield i would say Yes. But wait for a Sale. I dont think as it is right now the game is Worth its 60$ Pricetag. Iam having lots of Fun but i can understand some of the negative and harsh Feedback this game gets.

Amazing game! A bit on the short side and the Controls are a clunky if you play with Mouse and Keyboard but overall very enjoyable. Would highly recommend to give it a try if you are a fan of Soulslike and Metroidvania games.
