This game is a hidden gem in the metroidvania genre. You can truly feel the labour of love the dev put into this. While it might be lacking a bit combat wise, Kingdom shell really shines when it comes to the beautiful zone design, gripping plot (which is really hard to come by in metroidvanias), entertaining boss fights, challenging jumping puzzles, and, overall, a smooth and fun gameplay.

I'd recommend this title to any fan of the genre, you seriously won't be disappointed.
