Great for playing with friend, super mindless wave shooter. Still a bit glitchy/buggy. Graphics are choppy because of the sheer number of effects onscreen.

I thought the criticism of the story was exaggerated, but as soon as I got to where you get bliss hypnotized to kill Eli and there is possible choice other than killing him even if you recognize what is happening. This is probably one of the most frustrating story beats that can happen as you're in control of you character the entire time which means you should have the choice of what to do but you just restart the section if you don't do as the game says. If it happened off-screen or in a cutscene mode as opposed to during player-controlled sections it would be a good story beat, but having control and being able to affect the outcome causes an incredible amount of frustration. Other than that the mandatory story beats with unavoidable knock-out scenes is bad but not frustrating. The gameplay in general is fun, even if the guns feel a bit too arcade-y for my taste. Good game overall if you can ignore the story that is forced on you.
