Came back to this after a few people were playing on YouTube. This game has some of the worst AI I have had in a sports game. Wide open lane for a pass, they will drive on their own and collapse the lane. Centers will leave the post to bring a defender to you. Pick and roll, they don't roll. On top of the pick and roll, the opponent AI sticks to you. A highlighted passing doesn't pass to the person highlighted a lot of the time. A lot of people give 2k23 crap. But at least the passing works.
Things like dribble moves are mostly ineffective, as the opponent AI can kickball and it isn't called. Illegal Picks(Screens) on the regular. Your team will randomly switch off opponents to allow someone to get open and score on a transition, and you are supposed to swap to the center as a PG causing a mismatch. None of it makes sense.
