xcom is slowly creeping up the map, soiling yourself at each square reveal, setting up flanking overwatch with each move.

firaxis have completely ruined this by introducing a mechanic that limits reach level to a (stupidly small) limited number of turns. I died from the mission countdown half a dozen times ON THE FIRST MISSION. i hate this game so much, it's like you get a new step mum and the first thing she does is throw your cat down the stairs. bin.
