It runs better after the recent patch I think but still jittery on a ryzen 5950x with 2080Ti Black edition and 64 gb ddr4 ram.

Anyway, the game itself is phenomenal. Frustrating and hard but satisfying to play. Great story, atmosphere, and scenery. It's a unique kind of game. Coming from stuff like God of War and Horizon Dawn it will feel unfriendly but in a fun way.

It's just a good ol action adventure semi rpg game.

The thing is, coming from God of War right before this, the game felt really unpolished at the start. The cut scenes were awful and the menus were kinda ugly, but getting into the actual gameplay itself.. it's amazing. What a great title. Just the dialogue, writing, and cut scenes could use some work. Some characters like Erend are relatable at least.

Easy to pick up conceptually but it feels like it's impossible to master. Yet somehow I seem to play people who have mastered it. I'll give it a 1000 more hours and let you know how it turns out.

I enjoyed the first one but upon kicking this one up, the gameplay has struck me as boring and tedious. It's more a vehicle for jokes with some chores spread throughout. At 60 for the regular and 90 for Gold, I'd have to say pass on this but if you really want to get a little more taste of interactive South Park this might be right up your alley.

The game is just all around great. Stable and beautifully presented with a good amount of content and complex gameplay that allows for a huge amount of replayability.

Multiplayer has great support though ranked is hard for low ranked players at least in my experience. Rev2 should help I think as more PC players join in.

This game is whack. The missions are boring, the graphics "OK" and the sound's not great at al.

Early Access Review
Game is pretty weak right now. All actions feel super clunky, the graphics have an off sense to them, and the ways sounds play along with animations make them feel super artificial. It's like I can almost see the person pressing play on the eating-noises.wav file.

The seems to have potential but I wouldn't go buying it right now.

After playing ACIII, an experience which lasted only 5 hours, I was a bit reluctant to try this game. I thought that maybe the AC type gameplay style was pretty much done for and could only offer the same repetitive play with different skins.

I've always been a big fan of the AC games, though, so I decided to give ACIV a chance considering all of the things I had heard about it. It turned out to be a good decision.

Perhaps the most compelling part of the game, pirating is a lot of fun and it's always satisfying bringing down powerful ships and capturing them for yourself. It adds a total new dimension to the game, and makes the world feel more cohesive, yet free.

The protagonist in this game is also a little refreshing, being a man from simple beginnings, really only looking to gain his fame and fortune on the seas. This however, changes a bit throughout the course of the game, but in a way that still made the character feel relatable.

I have yet to finish the storyline, but at this point I have a full fleet of ships, a fully upgraded Jackdaw, 100k, and most upgrades, going to show that the side activities are just as fun as the main storyline.

The best part is that I see this game as the beginning to a new direction for these Creed games. Infrantry combat is definitely one place that still needs some complexity to it.
