Great game!

The combat is satisfying, interesting boss battles, good progression and difficulty.

I played the 3 games for a combined 3k+ hours and would absolutely recommend. Warhammer 3 alone will get you hundreds of hours of fun but the real experience comes when you have the 3 games and play immortal empires. This combines the maps of all 3 games to create a ginormous world with more distinct factions than any other strategy game I know. Definitely worth the extra expense if you can get them in my opinion. The sheer amount of content is staggering.

Playing in coop is a blast too. You need to both have the same base games installed to play together but no need to have the same DLCs. There is also competitive multiplayer battles but I don't have much experience there. From what I see online it seems to be in good shape though. And of course there's also modding with the workshop, adding an unlimited amount of content from the passionate modding community.

Of course there are also problems though. Bugs are bound to happen with a project of that magnitude and Creative Assembly have had their ups and downs over the years with the patches and new releases. The game never was in an unplayable state but it was pretty bad at some points. Fortunately, the game seems to be in a solid state at the moment of this review and the team at CA have kept up a good pace with the patches and new content lately. It can also be pretty expensive if you want every piece of DLC but none of it is essential.
