LT. and Capt. difficulties offer good mindless task management. Admiral difficulty show clear balancing issues as part of randomized threats. Good challenge, $5 or less kind of title.

The definitive WW2 shooter from the 2000s for me (other than BF1942). When I built my first Pentium 4 machine and ran this game it blew my mind. Polished graphics that have held of decently to 20 years of improvements and a campaign that is satisfying. Selection of weapons were exceptional with middle of the road sound quality but satisfying reflex. AI needed a little work, was nothing for NPCs to run right into your line of fire and hitting you with a friendly fire penalty. Also, when navigating maps obstacles are inconsitently passable/unpassable when flanking. Talk about getting caught with your pants down... A great buy for under $10 for any history buff or shooter fan.

Dark Forces and Tie Fighter defined my Star Wars computer gaming growing up during the DOS/Win95 era of personal computing. Blown away by the 3D environment as I left my Nintendo and Mario 3 for the "cooler games" on PC. Essential on anyone's PC gaming playlist! This game is a prime example of what we need as a modern shooter remake! Great purchase for any collection!

The definitive Warhammer Fantasy experience! Growing into a trilogy over the last +3 years, Sega and Creative Assembly have captured what all before it has failed. The ability to coexist the unique play styles, strategies, and lore of a franchise that takes Lord of the Rings-like opera but streamlines into a rock n roll playlist for those who are ready to jump into the fray. Every faction is accounted for with more being added as DLC regularly. Tip of the hat to the developers!

An incredible successor to a gaming classic!! Improvements in gameplay, dynamics in controlling your character and inventory, and the addition of many likeable, loveable, and shootable characters makes Borderlands 2 a must have in any gamers library! Pandora awaits you, Vault Hunters!
