My photographic tour of the Zone of Exclusion around Chernobyl and Pripyat (located in my "Artwork" section) should be viewed in order of "oldest first" to best enjoy my narrative.

Another indie gem. Signalis is scary, haunting, sad, and mysterious. Like any great work of art, it grabs the player by the lapels and demands attention: to its beauty, its complexity, its execution and its language. It's a stunning game, one that requires multiple and varied playthroughs to reach all of its possible endings although a careful first-time player will probably reach its best one first.

Other reviewers have made (obvious) comparisons to older games like Resident Evil, but really it stands on its own merits as a wonderful gaming experience that sucks you in and leaves you wishing for more (or in my case, wondering how on earth I managed to miss picking up a weapon I spent half the game picking up ammo for). Definitely going to have to start a new game just to solve that particular mystery.

If you like slow paced, gently-unfolding stories with solid gameplay mechanics and a degree of freedom to explore and solve puzzles to unlock yet more keys, bound up in an absolutely gorgeous package, then Signalis is for you. Ich verspreche.
