To all the people whining about achievements behind a paywall.....this game was never meant to be completely free. I first played this game on mobile and enjoyed it so much that I also picked it up on steam. The developers generously allow you to play a good amount of the game for free (when i first played they didnt nearly have as much content as they do know) to see if you enjoy the game then have you buy it. Of course you are going to have to pay money, thats how things work. I feel like the same people who complain about that are the same ones for keep spending 70$ on a "new" Call of duty game every year. This is a very fun game it has a few quirks here and there but i ultimately wish i could see more games like this in the future. RNG can sometimes get you in this game but thats what makes rouge lites fun and frustrating. Obviously its going to be a bit repetitive as you progress but every run through is a bit different and harder (if you choose to up it). Not as aggavating as Slay the spire IMO though. I would say the most annoying part can be the translation at times. Im not great at reviews but this game is worth playing if you like card battles with nice graphics good music and fun gameplay. Just had to say something for the people who have the audacity to complain about a game that lets you try its content for free before you buy. I wish more companies did the same.

So it seems with the new dlc comes with screwing people who didnt buy it. I already had a grand campaign going as sparta and a large portion of the map controled. I hadnt played in a few weeks but I recently played before and after the "patch". I come to find a different political party system and the ability to change your type of government. interesting enough although i havent looked much into it and all the changes. However I noticed my generals no longer had their skills. A lvl 8 general had nothing, like he was reset to lvl 1 but still had all the EXP. Not only that but I had a surplus of 90 food when i last played. Upon loading I was now -90.after going through all my cities and taxing/nontaxing all my provinces I managed to come out with 8. Of course now I'm hemorrhaging money. Virtually meaning I'm damned if i do and Im damned if i dont. 30 hours of gameplay down the drain. I usually Don't write reviews and this was bad enough to make me do so. I'm not sure why they keep screwing with this game, perhaps if you start fresh there isnt an issue. Regardless this isnt CA's first mistake with this game I'm sure it wont be the last.
