This game is 90s nostalgia overload and I love it.

It seems fairly simple and short at first, and the core gameplay loop is fairly simple, but it's definitely not short if you really want to see all the content. If you like unlocking stuff then this might be the game for you.

There are a ton of operating systems to unlock and explore. Lots of "number go up" dopamine hits. I very quickly got addicted to this game.

Theres lots of fun secrets and easter eggs to find. You can also unlock some more obscure hardware that essentially requires reading manuals just to figure out how to operate them.

If you like casual games, unlocking stuff and old PC hardware then you should try this game out. It's probably easier to play on mobile because it's definitely the kind of game to play in short bursts during downtime, however, it "feels" better to play on PC because it's more immersive.

This was a pretty excellent mod but I had issues with it.

The pros: Excellent level design, good voice acting, cool puzzle mechanics, story is mostly decent.

The cons: The last 1/3 of the game was rushed and you can tell, especially the ending. (This is not speculation , the dev confirmed the ending was rushed to release.) The game left me kind of disappointed in the end. The pacing kinda falls off near the end and it all happens so abruptly.

I'm still going to recommend this because there's way more good than bad but you can absolutely tell it was rushed to release and it leaves a lot to be desired storywise. I feel like this could easily have been the best Portal 2 mod ever made if only the devs took their time on the ending segments and that's a real shame because so much of this mod is amazing. You should definitely still play this, though.

This is a great chill city builder game. I like that it feels unique compared to moat other city builders. Highly recommend this one.

As someone who has played Half-Life 100+ times, I gotta say... this is great! If you want to replay the OG Half-Life with a bit more spice this is perfect. Really good way to revisit this game. I especially like the added enemies because it catches me off guard. Probably has the best HL1 explosion graphics i've ever seen in a mod too. I was gonna just check this out briefly but I maybe wanna replay the entire game now.

So I don't even like strategy games but I absolutely love this game. Strategy games usually stress me out and confuse me but this game is so well crafted and the UI is so nicely done that it just works for me.

The graphics are beautiful, it gives me Warcraft 3 vibes but more detailed and I just love looking at this game.

The music is so good. It's very peaceful and pleasant to listen to. I enjoy the music so much I've been listening to the soundtrack on Spotify when I'm not playing it. Its rare that a games music has that effect on me but Against the Storm is something else.

The gameplay manages to be hectic but not too stressful or confusing at any given point. The roguelite aspects of AtS make it very playable for someone who gets bored of city builders quick. The runs are bite sized enough that I don't get bored, it's the perfect blend of roguelite and city builder.

I can't recommend this game enough. Truly a wonderful experience. I've literally been having dreams about this game because I'm so into it.

I really wanted to like this game.

It started off great, but the further I progressed the more confusing it got. When I would encounter a puzzle it wasnt clear what I was supposed to do and when I did solve the puzzle it was entirely by chance and I didnt even know how I was doing it. Some areas I would progress through glitches that were unintentional. The story also became totally lost on me around the time the vortigaunts showed up. Random stuff kept happening that made no sense whatsoever and I eventually got frustrated and gave up. I just couldnt follow along with what was happening. I dont understand how this game got so many good reviews in the state its in, its almost unplayable in places.

The level design was really good! It was just everything else that I had a hard time with. It needs a ton of work.

I hate this game. It's visual and auditory hell and it gives me anxiety.

Jessu Christ, where do I begin?

When I started playing it seemed like your typical, albeit really cool, digital card game. I struggled. I died a lot, but I kept going. Eventually I got better and finished the first act.

I just got to act 2 and I have no idea what is happening but its like an entirely different game now. My mind is blown. This game is so unique and I feel like I still have so much more to do. I don't need to finish the game to say I recommend it because its obviously an amazing experience, I would have been happy if act 1 was what the entire game was like, honestly. It was already good from there and now... now I need to delve deeper into this insanity.

I liked this game for a few hours but then I figured it out and wasted 4 hours for an anticlimactic ending. The concept is pretty cool but it's ultimately very boring once you figure out what you're doing. It's also too easy. Once you get enough food and then enough swordsman you're pretty much good to best endgame, it's just a waiting game.

It's worth noting that the devs plan to add more cards, a lot more, and maybe that will change my opinion, but we'll see. I really did like it at first and feel like it's a good concept, it just sorta falls flat in the end unfortunately.
