I’ve been an avid fan of Hunt: Showdown since its early days, sinking over 1,100 hours into what used to be a thrilling and immersive experience. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this game to anyone. The developers seem to have completely lost sight of what made Hunt great in the first place, focusing instead on profit through an endless stream of DLCs, skins, and events, while neglecting crucial gameplay optimizations and meaningful content updates.

My recent experiences have been nothing short of frustrating. Just today, my friend and I spent an entire hour trying to start a game, only to have our attempts thwarted eight times in a row by the broken matchmaking system. We were constantly placed on servers either in Russia or the USA, resulting in unplayable latency and a complete waste of our time.
After over 1,100 hours, I’m sad to say I’m done with Hunt: Showdown. The game I loved has been overshadowed by greed and neglect.
