The game is fine but the monetization has gone crazy and is only getting worse

Anything that makes this game different from Farcy 3 or 4 is bad. The story is painful, the characters are weak and the ending is unsatisfying to say the least. Uncharitably, I'd say the desire for a post ending DLC drove the writing for the ending.
