I swear I started this campaign like 30 minutes ago but it's already 5am.

This is a game that somehow combines the best of The Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, and the Fable series without any of the negatives. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is as close to a perfect game as I have ever encountered. The cities are MASSIVE, much more so than any Skyrim city. The decisions you make have unforseen consequenses, and sometimes it is difficult to know the 'right' choice. Character dialouge is meaningful, and voice acting is spot on. While the game is a sequel to previous titles, it doesn't feel like I have been left out of any important information from the previous titles even though I have not played them.

If The Elder Scrolls could be compared to Lord of the Rings, then I would compare The Witcher to Game of Thrones. The Witcher is not only more adult oriented than other RPGs, it is also much 'darker' in terms of dialouge, nudity, gameplay, and choices/consequences. Even though the game is in a fantasy setting, it has a more realistic feel to it than any other RPG of a similar nature that I have played.

There are only 2 minor things that bother me with Witcher 3; It is not feasable to interact with quests/missions freely. You will get many quests that you will not be able to complete until much later in the game, so it feels like grinding is required to complete certain missions. The Elder Scrolls does not have this problem. The other gripe I have is with the inability to organize current/unfinished quests. I have gotten to a point where half of my quests will be incomplete until I leave Novigrad and sail to Skellege to finish them. So I wish there was a way to move them to a different folder so I don't have to look at them until I am in Skellege. It may not seem like a big deal but when you have nearly 50 unfinished quests to do it can be annoying trying to find out which ones still need to be completed. As I right this review I am at level 16. I have plenty of quests that are recommended for level 25 or higher. It would be nice if I could also move these missions into a different folder until I am at a closer level to completing them. There is just so much content in the game that it gets a little overwhelming when you can't organize quests or quest order.

Easily one of the most addictive and fun games that I have ever played. I have put more hours into playing this seemingly simple indie game than most $60 AAA titles. This game is a must-buy, especially at its $10 price point.
