I'm sorry but the "Message" from the start of the game just annoyed me. There has always been only two genders tell this "FAD" came along and pushed their idealism into games.. and I guess it spreaded to here.. I can't even get myself to play this game anymore.. It just pisses me off.

I'd like to make things simple at first then post a detailed response and tips about this game especially on harder difficulties.

Pros -
-Strong enemies on harder difficulties to keep you on your toes!
-Custom designed buildings and defensive tactics you can use to defend your town.
-You're not forced to play in any one way, you need stuff but not forced to say farm, you can also hunt or raise animals to eat or produce products of food.
-Not forced to build a town, you can live underground and make passages deep underground.. effectively making you a hermit. (No underground food so you still need a small something above ground).
-Custom blue prints from other better building designers than me and me crafting the designs in game! Some people's castles or even basic as walls is very useful!
-Crafters having a chance to crafter rarer and enhanced versions of their craft to sell for a higher price at the market.

Cons -
-Need more talent tree's (The ones in game is pretty basic which makes the game feel overly simple)((Though steamshop adds more combat units to the 2 or 3 choices you get in game))
-More building options (say the stone/wood or even clay crafters all have close or the same things to offer.. clay bed... wood bed...stone bed... needs more options to make each profession feel unique other than you need that crafter for the specific area. I want a reason to get those other crafters for combat or enhance other professions.. more linkable professions.
-Pathing ((when building structures more often than not I find a worker stuck on the side of a building for god knows how long waiting for you to send another worker over to build a ladder... (Me going how did you get up their??? lol)

Overall I played over 100 hours (Check profile because it's going to increase) I find the game very basic but fun for what it currently has so far. I needs more options or even more sim options for me to be more heavily invested. There is a sim option for what makes them happy or sad but it doesn't feel like it does anything when I meet either of those goals. There is a moral system to the game which effects the effectiveness of your sims which is okay.. more often than not it's always down because I find especially the newest people the hardest to play because it seems like it's impossible to build more fighters unless you're lucky enough to get a trader to sell you options to make wood. Stone hearth's should have a stone sword to start then upgrade from.. but for some reason there is no basic fighter option it starts with a bow user? Forces you to get a starter kit with a bow or you're completely doomed.

Pro tip (Herblism crafters are AMAZING), Like I mentioned before harder difficulties can be overwhelming at times.. sometimes knocking all your fighters out of commission.. best tactic is to somehow save them as they go down with the other sims and build all your beds with the herblism user far back behind many doors.. mobs take awhile to break doors to get to them and herblism users will heal them up super fast which gives your town a way to fight again before you lose everything.)
