It may look better... but doesn't last long, you're better getting / playing Dungeon of the Endless as this is a let down.

The Beta was fun and fine as it was, but sadly they tweaked things on launch that made it worse making both raiding and building not worth it at all. I'd say wait 3 months or more before buying it.. if they even listen to us at all.

Otherwise once they fix it i would recommend the game as it is fun.. well was atm.

Don't let the Ppl who complain about kill boxes turn you off, i enjoy them as it's a challange and if you like challanges, if you can't do it just do another map or difficulty.

The paid game is not worth the money, the free modes however are worth it, specially the DMZ which is fun compared to battle royal.

I expected better from this in 2022, i loved the movies of Starship Troopers and always wanted to see a ST game made, be it FPS or RTS with horde swarms of bugs... however this game felt like it was made 15 years ago.. even C&C3 still more fun than this.

i was hopeing for a lot more base building and defence vs mass bugs but... it felt lacking and pretty boreing. It felt like they didn't really put much effort into this game at all. The only thing u can build is 3 small turrets while u do get bunch of different units you are very limited in how many u can have on the map.

The unit movements/attacks tend to mess up often as well, either get stuck or run into bugs on attack move when they shouldn't or don't shoot at all when they could.

All in all.. not really worth it.

This game is not worth the price, it's just a big overpriced DLC that they didn't even try making it good or near to a Borderlands game. At most the game should be £20 with season pass included.. no more. BL2 Tiny Tina DLC did far better than this.

- Lack of Guns and Melee, u will see all the weapons withen 5 levels of the game (no Bows, Spears, Daggers, Shields and many more)
- Melee itself is garbage, half your skills / weapon buffs will have melee but u will barely use it.
- Classes don't feel that great, they should just went with actual class's like Archer, Knight, Mage, Tank and so on.
- Story was meh, Tiny Tina felt pushed back of her full potential.
- DLC from Season Pass is not DLC, just 10 min of 4 stages of arena... COPY and PASTED to each DLC RIPPOFF
- Lvl 40 max
- No replay (new game+)
- Barely much boss's or big ones.. rather nothing felt like a boss, on HARD mode we just nuked them.
- Lack of Content... You could finish this game withen a week and have nothing to do.
- Customizing is dreadful, yes u can make your own charactor face but you can't choose what armor and barely any helms.. like 3 masks and 3 helms.. that's it so far and we are at the end of the game. The colour scheme and textures are very limiting, very difficult to find something your happy with.
- Game is BUGGY.. so much issues with Client side that ruined the game more.

Played with a group of friends and we expected this to be hardcore survival or well at least... hard. It only took us 1 day to fully learn how to survive or what's need to counter illness / venom / cuts / what food to eat or not and so on. We didn't play the story mode so it may have played better in the long run or a reason to why we should explore.

How the days went:

First Day: We were panicking on what's this and that, dieing to infection or venom bite or just hunger. But we slowly started to understand how things work, we played about 3 hrs that day to learn much we could..... we also died at the end by 4 tribesmen. But we enjoyed it so far.

Second Day: Started fresh, found a camp nearby that we took over and started to gather resources and food to keep us alive and start building a wall or some-sorts around us, but i also wanted to build somewhere else as the camp we found felt to exposed but was more flatter. But we all agreed to build the spot i found... but to only find out we couldn't... AT EITHER PLACE. Placement in this game was HELL and fricken annoying, felt like i was playing ARK all over again.. as that had the similar issues of foundation placement. This game has no Walls, Fences... or even a DOOR, you can't build on uneven surfaces or have things in the way (trees, rocks) So we all decided to find a better place the next day.

Third Day: We went exploring to find our true home and we had no trouble with dieing or getting hurt... things felt to easy at this time and we yet to find any new crafting recipes. We finally found a wide flat area (but still expose all around) but we wanted to check around more ... just incase :D...and we found it.... little smaller but had a cliff side to our back, water around us like a moat (with fish) with a waterfall (for a shower)... PERFECT and it was all in bamboo so we can clear the whole area. Building was abit easier.

Forth Day: Base is half completed... as we started to feel bored, all we did was gather, gather, gather, we had enough food to survive for a week and we decided to check if there was any more crafting recipes to only find out we actually learnt it all, there was no new buildings as well just a mud box..... there was no purpose in exploring... we had everything.. we can survive everything.. what are we meant to do now?

We decided to just leave it there... as we had no motivation to continue.. game got far to easy, yes we could go to hardcore but that just increases food consume which tbh.. we had far to much food in normal i think we could still easily survive hardcore.

I enjoyed The Forest far more and longer than Green Hell, i expected more from Green Hell but sadly... it's lacking and kinda to easy.

Enjoyable open world game that you can fully complete without feeling forced or doing tedious things like open world games tend to do. Story was enjoyable, not the best but good enough.

I played on Hard 2 straight off wanting to give myself a challenge as am not the type to replay games... i was a little unsure at first thinking i won't able to kill hordes later in the game as it was difficult killing some normal freaks, but am glad i stuck to it because half way through the game hordes are a joke and got to easy.

Hordes is the only thing that i feel the game did badly on, bad AI pathing and didn't stick to what the devs showed us when the game came out, you can easily run in a straight line and mow them all down, they are 1-2 shot kill compared to normals take 4-6 shots unless u headshot which even then sometimes is difficult on the normals.

All in all... the game is still fine to play, you just won't get that horde expectation your ment to get, for people who only want to play this game once, id recommend playing NG+ on Hard 2 right off the bat (yes you can play it without completing it) and for people who want a more harder challenge go on NG+ Survival.

This game is not worth the price, being so buggy and had so many issues with this game that me and my friend gave up playing it... only 4 hrs in yes but the amount of bugs and things breaking.. we just cant bare it. It has the potential to be good but atm... this isn't a complete finished game.. it still feels like an alpha.

This game also does not have prep phases, or setup phases, which you would think you expect to get from this type of game. Most the times we get attacked after a casual talk, the whole group is standing together in the open like bunch of idiots, if they throw a nade that's it.. we're all dead.
You can't really setup ambushes well or get good positions as this game just doesn't do it well like xcom.
No que system as well so you can't tell who's attacking next or who to aim for, as well as no level on the enemies to know if you should be able to take them on or not.

It's a nice game for a few hours but once u built everything and got a stable city there is nothing else to do. Game needs alot more content to really last longer.

Great little game for ppl who like turn base card games. Similer to Rampage Knights, where you climb levels getting better cards and relics to help beat the next lvls. I hope this game gets alot bigger with more cards, charactors and an endless dungeon to see how far one can go. I advise new players not to try the Daily Challanges untill you truely beaten itnormaly as it may make you lose the motivation as daily challanges are supose to be harder... it feels easier and i beat the game due to it.
