Game is a fun Coop shooter. Works best if you play with friends. But the game has a active player base.

As a backer for the Closed Alpha I had already no expectations for the EA release. Te devs made alot of claims and never made there deadlines, or promises.
The first CA build was ok. It showed potential and although it was not what they showed people where optimistic. Then the reworks came and the game became worse and worse.
Core features that where implemented never came back in the years that it was in CA. The game now is buggier then when it first launched years ago.
I only played a little while but it was enough to see that almost no progress was made. I spawned and was swarmed by zombies before I even too my first step. Second try got out of the starting erea and walked until I was almost dead and saw nothing.
Third try, spawned and got in a truck. The truck was glitched and I got stuck in the truck with a swarm of zombies around me.

There are alot of zombies around the area you need to loot. and once you move out of the POI's there are no zombies. If they wnat to pull a no man sky they have a long road ahead to rebuild the trust they have lost.

A combination of Minecraft an COD zombies.

You have to survive for in a world of zombies, and every 7 days they will come at you in force.
You can play singleplayer of multi. And even then you can set the server to pve/pvp settings. So for casual players it's a fun game.

Edit: Aplha 18 is out, but so far I'm not enjoying it. The threat of zombies is gone (The zombie count was lowerd for proformance. I hope they will be back up later) . And that is something that is sticking out with, and I can't pass it.

It feels more like a looting game than a zombie survival atm. I try to love this game, I se the potential. But the zombie count atm is to low.
