I had been intrested in re-playing Dark Souls for a while now and the release of the Remastered edition provided me the perfect opportunity to do so. The consistent FPS smooths out the gameplay while allowing parrying to be reliable and effective. The graphics are a nice revitalization that adds a few nice touches to the environment and presentation. The greatest addation I found was the compatibility with mouse and keyboard, it was nice not going into my files and forcing adaptation like I had to in the "Prepare to die edition". Overall, I have already received my $25 (CDN) worth and am glad I get to play this game again without the past frustration.
