playstation ruins it again

Honestly, i love paradox. I own and play all their games since HOI3.

And this game is a huge disappointment. now before you call me a hater, hear me out. Yes, i know these games get big and great updated and dlc that make them deep. i have played ck2, eu4, stellaris and hoi3/4 vanilla, i know how it goes. The big issue i have with this game is not only a lack of interactive action but a lack of accurate and clear tool tips.

one example. I just got done playing a settled tribe, working towards picking up and settling a new land. It took hours to work my centralization down to were the decision would fire only for me not able to do so. What do i need to do to get to my goal? well lets look at the tool tip to tell me.

ok, what the hell does that mean? I worked to get my entire counsel/tribal chiefs above 33. nothing.

paradox, you really disappointed me with this title. ill leave it in the library till some updates and dlc come out hoping it gets better. Sadly, i cannot really trust new releases from one of my favorite studios unless there are specific people working on it. I now feel that paradox success is based on a few core people driving success and that expanding like they have is going to lead to further letdowns, i really hope i am wrong.

Absolutly loving this game.

I looked at this game almost a year ago when it was in Early Access and I was not imporessed. I did not think it stood up to other games of it's type like ARK or even The Forest. Now after totally forgeting about it I bought it after several of my friends told me about all the changes the developer made for release. I am 25 hours in on our custom server and all i can think about at work is how I am going to extend my bases walls to allow for more thralls toiling on my workbenches.

If this type of game is your thing, then take it from soemone with several hundred hours of ARK that this game is worth the cost. I love the complexity of crafting and intuitiveness of building. Also, the craftable decorations really allow you to make your house a home.

If I had to be critical of one thing it would be combat. Fighting large enemies can be a little buggy with some clipping and it's hard to gauge how tough an opponant will be untill you give them a wack and see their health bar barely moved. From what i hear from friends this got a really good overhaul and they expect to see it only get better.

10/10 - i'm addicted

Great Fun. Some will complain of a lack of content at launch, but i much prefer this type of early access that is not broken and already optomized rather then the broken early access games that prioritize content over bug and performance fixes.

Excited to see what more comes out, but for now i am having a great time playing this game with friends.

Would have been happy if this was $5. This is overpriced, and lacking any depth.
