The new maps are absolutely amazing. The oil rig in particular adds incredible verticality and a host of other things that feel very necessary. The addition of air support is amazing. A lot of new content that feels great

It's a fun game so far - a couple of rough edges but that's to be expected. Runs quite well on my rig (RX6800) and no crashes so far. Story and setting are great as always - if you enjoy these kind of games I would recommend grabbing it. If you're unsure maybe wait 2-3 months for all the bugs to be fixed

Feels like I've been waiting forever. From the first announcement video and the "Painkiller-Hype" that initially caught my eye to a final steam release - even if it's early access.

After the first 5 hours I could not be happier. Gunplay is absolutely crisp, beautiful world building, fantastic RPG-elements and the rougle-lite features make this super fun to just run-and-gun.

It's basically crack. Your brain won't even realize whats happening and you'll still feel really good while you're playing but after you're done you don't even know what happened. 10/10

If you're looking for Hotline Miami on crack, meth and fentanyl - this is it.

If you don't like Battlefield then you might actually enjoy 2042. If, however, you are a fan of the battlefield franchise you will probably hate it.

Ignore the bugs, ignore the absolute lack of content, ignore the horrendous UI. Everything you might have loved about Battlefield is missing. And if it's not everything, I can almost promise you that it will be ~80% at least. And all these features you enjoyed and really liked were replaced with ♥♥♥♥ that is kind of close to Warzone - but way worse.

So if you're itching for more Warzone... just play Warzone. It's significantly better. If you're itching for Battlefield...just play BFV, BF1, BF4, BF3. They are way better (yes, even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is BFV). If you're itching for the worst crossover episode in gaming - give 2042 a shot.
