That's a tough one. I've never really thought about works in terms of how famous or popular they are, so nothing jumps out right away as "the most obscure" aside from my personal favorites I guess if something's really unknown, it's probably on the verge of disappearing. But a couple do come to mind—novels by the Japanese author Yuya Sato, and a Japanese game called Quartett that's all about music and has an absolutely beautiful soundtrack
