Farming Simulator 15 is a grindy and time-consuming game. You start with a small harvester and few tractors and work your way up to more powerful machines, that will make your work more efficient and give larger yields. Besides growing various grains you can also have animals (chickens, sheep and cows). Chickens don't need care, sheep need grass to eat and cows are the ones most profitable and also needs some of your time. Later you can specialize in producing silage - it can be mixed with hay and straw as food for the cows or used as fuel for the biogas plant. The choice is yours.

If you liked Eurotruck Simulator or Elite Dangerous or grindy games in general, try this one out. It has basic tutorials about how to work your fields and what equipment to use. There are some good guides too if you google them. It's not a very complex game and easy to get into. In the game you can hire a worker to do the work for you (most of the time), but there are some tasks that require you to do them manually.

I've played it in single player mode, even if the game has possibility for multiplayer. The DLC's don't add much to the game, as most of the DLC equipment have the same functionality than the ones in the base game. The Gold expansion adds a map and I don't have it, nor need it.

There's a thriving modding community for Farming Simulator 2015 that will cater to your wishes.

With build 12 it's an MMO with most of the elements which made Ultima Online great. Amazing community, housing, crafting and exploring, they're all there and improving. The game may feel rough at first, but worth the effort. Quite amazing accomplisment with pre-alpha and the devs are patching every week, there's also game and community events weekly. Highly recommend, just don't expect it to play like other MMO's: the game doesn't hold your hand if you play it.

It's Borderlands – in space. Pre-Sequel introduces the story of Jack, the villain of Borderlands 2. You start as one of the mercenaries at Jack's side. Space introduces few new gameplay elements, jetpack being one of them and it's even smoother Borderlands experience. More guns, more enemies, great humor and Claptrap. They're all in.

Well made trucking simulator. You start your career in a wheel of someone elses truck and build your company up from a scratch. Concept goes: buy a truck, pick a job, pick up the load, drive to the destination, empty the load, repair/upgrade/fuel your truck and learn new skills. After awhile you can afford a second truck and can hire one extra driver. A lot of attention has been put to details. There's dynamic weather system, day/night cycle, traffic violations, AI traffic, etc.

There are many new cities to discover and you can use ferries and train tunnel to reach UK from mainland Europe. I recommend Going East and High Power Cargo pack DLCs as they're quite cheap and extend the map and available delivery missions. Scandiavian DLC is also on it's way.

There's a lively modding community around ETS2, good player made maps, multiplayer and expansions. A steering wheel is recommended, but I found mouse & keyboard fine aswell. This game supports Naturalpoint TrackIR and Oculus DK1/2 for those who have them.

In my opinion the learning curve of this game is low, though some basic knowledge about trucks can be useful. To me, it's not a hardcore simulator.

In January 2014, the standalone version of Dayz is in alpha stage and there really is quite a bunch of bugs present in the game. It could be argued there is somewhat lack of content too, but I find the gameplay and atmosphere in Dayz strangely satisfying and completely different from other games I've played (and I've played a lot). There's a lot of running around and learning to navigate in the environment (maps are hard to find) and action can be sparse but exciting. Encounters with other players are surprising and often dangerous situations. If you want to peek what Dayz is all about, I recommend watching most viewed user-made videos from Youtube, or popular livestreams in Twitch.tv as they typically show what Dayz can be at it's best. But do keep in mind that the game is in alpha stage and that it could be called a jogging simulator as well. There's generally not much to do after fully equipped other than getting killed while interacting with other players. You might want to take a look also to Arma2 Dayz mods, as they have more features like more guns, base building, vehicles, helos etc.

If you grew up in the early 80s, this game will reverbrate with your excellent taste in class b action movies. It has the same fluid gameplay as Farcry 3 but with nutter neon colors and awkward humor. Game engine scales well also to older hardware.

An open-world adventure FPS, with some RPG elements like crafting, skill trees and kill-missions. The story is somewhat controversial and has drugs, sex and violence. Pretty much sums it up – you learn to be a savage. The game is well optimized and will run well even on older hardware without looking crap. There's multiplayer element and a modding community aswell for the game.

If you want a platformer with a story, good gameplay and always wanted to be a Ninja, this game is for you. It's one of the best platformers available for PC today and you really can't go by buying it. Owning a gamepad is recommended, though.

Such a suprise, playing as a bureaucratic civil cervant in a dystopian country. Working as a gatekeeper in border control while and trying to feed your family :) An educating and humorous game for grownups. Like in any dystopian country, you need to learn and live by the rules to a certain extent.
