You might get a bit of a mobile gacha vibe at first seeing the tech tree or all the things to upgrade..... but when you remember that you are not getting micro transcation milked to complete each different upgrade mechanic... whether it be technology, guns, equipment etc etc you realize there is alot of game here, and a fun mix of it to boot.

7.5/10, maybe 8/10 when i try the DLCs

First of, the soundtrack for the first level is awesome.

I like this more then teh base game. Wasn't interested n escaping at all. Though playing a 2015 indie game in 2024 on a beast of a pc is prob underwhelming for me xD

I mean. It's dated. I would rather play other games. I did the first mission for a bit and screwed around with laundry, working out etc. I had no interest in trying to "escape" I had more fun with the walking dead version

Will rec just cause if you like these kind of games you should like this one.

That's quite the accomplishment the game is so good I don't even care about any of the more suggestive or degen content lmao

I didn't really like the world of mechs or care until I played battletech one day because I Liked TTRPGS, tactics and squad based games etc

Then I found this game and thought no way I would like it, I like turned based games not shooter and action games..... boy I was wrong

I fell in love with the game and the world and can't wait for Clans now

Think of rim world but more advanced.

But less communities and factions on a generated map and more scenario based

They cry "abandoned game" but the game is finished. Just no DLC. Which I assume would have been the Eastern front or another front.
